Dear Ikang,

It's me, you, from the past. I'm writing this letter to you in the hopes that it finds you well, thriving in your journey of faith, and pursuing your dreams with passion and purpose.
August 5, 2024 , 11:01 pm at noon. I'm writing this letter to you hoping you could read this as years pass by. This letter aims for you to remember the days of your youth as you overcome the season's of your life by God's help. I want you to be reminded through this letter that "life is maybe hard but God is always good!" You will overcome every trials and season as long as you have God in your life.
Remember all those dreams we talked about? The ones that seemed so distant and uncertain? I hope you're actively chasing them, even if it's one small step at a time. Remember the power of prayer and the strength you find in your faith. Let it guide you, comfort you, and empower you to overcome any obstacles that may come your way. I know you're an introvert who loves to recharge in solitude. But I also know you have a hidden extrovert within you, ready to shine in the right setting. Don't be afraid to embrace both sides of yourself. Find the balance between your introspective moments and the connections you make with others.
Remember the importance of building meaningful relationships. Nurture your friendships, cherish your family, and be open to new connections. You'll find that true joy comes from sharing your life with those you love. As you navigate life, I urge you to stay true to yourself. Don't let the world dictate who you should be. Embrace your unique gifts and talents, and use them to make a positive impact on the world around you.
Before I end this letter, Kang I want you to be reminded by this " You must learn to plan for the future but honor where you are today. You must be confident that God is with you always and be flexible for change along the journey. You must live each day presently, grateful for life itself, enjoying the journey every step of the way, always still in our hearts."
I believe in you, Ikang. You have the potential to achieve great things. Remember to stay grounded, stay humble, and always seek God's guidance. You are always LOVED by Papang(God) PADAYUN!!.

Sincerely with love and hope,

JAMAICA MAGSALAY BALABAT

Your Past Self.
